Hola. Soy Georgiana, tu profesora de inglés. Mi misión es ayudarte a hablar inglés con fluidez.
Hoy voy a hablar de los objetos que conviene llevar a la beach.
Y con una historia especial desde distintos puntos de vista practicarás gramática sin memorizar reglas aburridas.
Bien, empecemos.
Ya estamos en junio. Y con junio llegan el verano y el buen tiempo. Una de mis actividades favoritas durante el verano es ir a la beach.
Normalmente voy a la beach por la mañana, cuando todavía no hay demasiada gente. A mediodía me parece que hace demasiado calor y que los rayos del sol queman mucho la piel, aunque a algunas personas les encanta.
Hoy quiero hablar de lo que conviene llevar a la playa. Así practicarás vocabulario específico sobre este tema y, por supuesto, llegarás perfectamente preparado.
#1 Swimsuit
Lo más importante es llevar un swimsuit. Un swimsuit es una prenda diseñada para nadar; la palabra suele utilizarse especialmente para bañadores de mujer o niña.
Los hombres, por otra parte, suelen llevar swimming trunks. Normalmente están hechos de materiales ligeros y de secado rápido, como nailon o poliéster.
#2 Towel
Cuando sales del agua probablemente quieras secarte, así que necesitas una towel. Pero la toalla de playa no sirve solo para secarte: también puedes extenderla sobre la arena y tumbarte encima para tomar el sol y broncearte. Por eso las toallas de playa suelen ser bastante grandes.
#3 Sunscreen
En verano el sol pega fuerte, especialmente durante las horas centrales del día. Para disfrutarlo sin dañar la piel conviene utilizar un buen sunscreen. También puedes oír la palabra sunblock. Normalmente es una crema que se aplica sobre la piel y se va absorbiendo poco a poco.
#4 Sunglasses
No solo tienes que proteger la piel, sino también los ojos. En verano el sol puede ser muy intenso, así que es importante llevar unas buenas sunglasses.
#5 Hat or cap
Aunque yo no suelo llevar hat or cap, creo que es una buena idea protegerse la cabeza durante las horas de más sol. Si tuviera que elegir, preferiría una gorra porque resulta fácil guardarla en cualquier sitio.
#6 Beach Air mattress.
Imagina que quieres algo que flote y que además te permita tumbarte sobre el agua. La solución perfecta es un air mattress de playa.

Kevin liked going to the beach very much, but he lived far away from the sea.
In the middle of June, he planned to go to the beach. So he drove all night to get there.
He was exhausted but happy to see the beautiful beach.
When he arrived, he looked for a good spot on the sand near the water.
Since he had his swimming trunks, he didn't have to change. He spread out a giant towel. At that moment, he realized he hadn't brought sunscreen.
-What bad luck! -he thought. He didn't think much of it and started to inflate the air mattress by blowing and blowing. He almost passed out, but in the end, he managed to inflate it completely.
He put on his sunglasses, got into the water with the air mattress, and lay down on it. As he was exhausted, he fell asleep within two minutes.
Hours and hours passed, and he was still asleep. He dreamed of mermaids. Finally, he woke up. He saw the coast, but it was different.
When he got to the beach, he asked where he was; someone answered him -Hawaii! -.
He had traveled hundreds of miles on the air mattress when he was asleep! Besides, since he hadn't put on sunscreen, he sunburned.
- Next time," he thought, "I'll buy an anchor, so this won't happen to me again.
