Hola a todos. Soy Georgiana, tu profesora de inglés. Mi misión es ayudarte a hablar inglés con fluidez.
Hoy vamos a ver cómo puedes seguir mejorando tu inglés durante las vacaciones de verano.
Después practicaremos la comprensión y el habla con una mini-historia divertida.
Cuando llegan las vacaciones es fácil abandonar por completo la rutina de aprendizaje. Pero no necesitas estudiar muchas horas: puedes integrar el inglés en actividades que ya vas a hacer.
Una cafetería con aire acondicionado
Busca una cafetería tranquila y air-conditioned. Disfruta de tu bebida mientras escuchas un episodio o una lección en inglés.
Centro comercial o restaurante
También puedes escuchar inglés mientras paseas por un centro comercial o estás en un restaurante. Quizá no tengas una concentración del 100 %, pero seguirás acumulando exposición al idioma.
A veces cambiar de entorno ayuda a concentrarse mejor que estar siempre delante del mismo escritorio.
El gimnasio
Si vas al gimnasio, aprovecha ese tiempo para escuchar tus lecciones favoritas. Una actividad repetitiva como caminar, correr o pedalear puede combinarse muy bien con el listening.
La playa
Y, por supuesto, también necesitas descansar. Si vas a la playa, disfruta del aire, la brisa —breeze— y escucha inglés de forma relajada.
No importa demasiado cuál sea tu plan para el verano. La idea es mantener un contacto frecuente con el idioma sin convertir las vacaciones en una obligación.
Cinco o diez minutos aquí y allá pueden sumar muchas horas a lo largo de las semanas.
